A Cyclist Collapses and Dies on the Climb to the Santa Bárbara Castle

A 70-year-old cyclist of foreign nationality died this Sunday while climbing Guanapay Castle, as reported by the Teguise City Council.

Apparently, the man collapsed while pedaling. Agents from the Local Police, Civil Protection and a basic life support ambulance from Emerlan have traveled to the scene.

The health workers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers for about 45 minutes but they were unsuccessful.
