A diver has died in Playa Blanca, after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest from which he did not recover.
The incident occurred in Playa Flamingo around 12 noon on Monday.
After being rescued from the water, the lifeguard had started resuscitation maneuvers, which the nurses subsequently continued without success.
The deceased is of foreign nationality and was about 60 years old.
