The president of the Water Consortium and Councilor of the Cabildo, Andrés Stinga, explained that "someone has put some stones on the path that leads to the Tahíche water tank to prevent access to it." This is how he explained it on Friday in the 'Buenos Días Lanzarote' program on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero. " We believe that the person is the owner of the land, although he has an easement that has been open for more than 30 years ," adds Stinga.

"This action will only affect the town of Tahiche because the northern line carries the water from the Maneje Tank to the end of La Graciosa," says the president of the Consortium. "I am not threatening, but I do not think it is an action by the neighbours themselves, but by the owner of the land."

Stinga has communicated that both this Friday and next Monday, February 27, he will meet with the lawyers
