An omelette and two salads from the Asadero de Pollos Arrocha have tested positive for salmonella in the analyzes carried out by the Public Health area of Lanzarote, which will now be sent to Gran Canaria for confirmation.

"The suspicions are centered there and now it has to be confirmed in Gran Canaria," said the director of the area of Health of Lanzarote, Noelia Umpiérrez. In addition, he has confirmed that two of the six minors who were admitted for salmonella poisoning at the Molina Orosa Hospital, and whose ages ranged from two to 15 years and continue to be hospitalized. "I imagine that they will still be with symptoms and that they will be under observation, but not complications," he said.
