César Manrique Arrecife Waterfall to be Restored

César Manrique, son of Arrecife is being commemorated in what would be his centenary this year, with the restoration of this feature waterfall and night lighting effects, taking advantage of the existing slope in the Morro de la Elvira, the highest level above sea level on the banks of the Charco de San Ginés.

Manrique supervised this project in the 80s and the works of the promenade and surroundings of the Ribera del Charco de San Ginés, whose blue colors are an axis of his artistic line for the coastal areas of the island of the volcanoes.
