The crosswinds that have reigned on the island for a few days are having an impact, especially at the Lanzarote airport.

This Monday the cameras of Lanzarotewebcam collected the moment in which a plane frustrated the landing, "engine and into the air due to crosswind at the end of runway 21" explained the air traffic controllers on their Twitter account."

It is a procedure that the crews apply when they consider that the landing will not be 100% safe. Later it has landed without problems", they have added the hashtag #SafetyFirst , (safety first).

The aircraft belongs to the Ryanair company and came from the Bergamo airport in Milan. It finally landed at 10:48 a.m.
