Three weather warnings for rain, wind and waves in Lanzarote
The first will be this Wednesday, with a pre-alert for rain, and the other two on Thursday, when there is an orange warning for wind
The State Meteorological Agency has activated three warnings for the next two days in Lanzarote, two of them yellow and one orange. The first is due to rain and will begin at 3 pm on Wednesday, when accumulated rainfall in an hour of 15 liters per square meter is expected.
That first warning is yellow and will be active in principle until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, although on Thursday another two will be activated, one due to wind and another due to waves.
As for the wind, it is expected to blow with more intensity between 15 and 21 hours on Thursday, when the warning is orange. In that time slot, the Aemet foresees gusts of up to 90 kilometers per hour.
In addition, during the morning and night of Thursday another warning for wind is also activated, but at a yellow level. Specifically, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. and 11.59 p.m., gusts of 70 kilometers per hour are expected.
Also on Thursday starting at 12 noon and until the end of the day, a pre-alert (yellow warning) will also be in force for the state of the sea, where waves of up to four meters could be registered, in addition to a strong wind.
