The Playa Blanca beach has been reopened to bathing this Monday, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium. Access to the beach was closed last Friday morning in the southern town, with the main reason being contamination from residual discharges.
After carrying out the pertinent analyzes to specify the moment of reopening and access to the beach and determining the origin of the spill, this Monday citizens will be able to enjoy a dip in the sea again.

It should be remembered that this is not the first time that the same beach has been closed due to pollution. On May 4, a sewage spill also forced it to be closed for four days. The Consortium sources told the EFE Agency that the spills were due to a  problem originating in the pumping station . The beach was reopened to the public on May 7 after obtaining the corresponding analysis.
