The 60-year-old man who fell from a height of around five metres in the abandoned hotel in Pechiguera in Playa Blanca has died in the early hours of this Saturday.
The incident took place on Friday at around 3.30pm when the CECOES was alerted to the incident. Local Police officers, two ambulances from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and the Emergency Consortium were dispatched to the scene.
Due to his injuries, the ambulance doctor requested a helicopter to take him to Arrecife and he was later evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital where he died at around 4 in the morning.
