Jet2 Expects to Bring 500,000 More Tourists to the Islands in 2020

The tour operator plans to fly this year to the Canary Islands 2 million visitors from the United Kingdom, as confirmed by the Regional Minister of Tourism, Yaiza Castilla. Jet 2 does not foresee the fall of the market after the departure from the European Union.

Yesterday, on the third day of the Tourism Fair in Madrid, the Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, Yaiza Castilla, confirmed that the reservations of trips to the Canary Islands in the United Kingdom are moving at a good pace, a fact that endorses that the British company Jet2 who are planning to fly an extra 500,000 visitors more than in 2019 and the company has already experienced a significant 19% growth in the archipelago.
