A 46-year-old motorcyclist died on Wednesday afternoon in a collision with a car that occurred in the tourist town of Costa Teguise. Two other people, tourists, were slightly injured.
The deceased, according to sources close to the victim, is Arturo Rivas, a resident of the town of Tahíche, located a few kilometers from Costa Teguise. He worked at the Motos Garrido company and also as a salesman at the Renault car dealership in Arrecife. He was a well-known person among the bikers on the island.
