Lanzarote is on pre-alert for maximum temperatures starting this Monday at 1:00 p.m., as reported this Sunday by the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands.
Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife are also on pre-alert for maximum temperatures.
Based on the prediction of AEMET and other available sources, it is expected that 34 degrees can be reached, and that temperature can be exceeded in a timely manner.
It will especially affect inland areas and slopes facing south and southeast of the islands.
