The investment has been close to 1.64 million euros
As soon as the installation of the public furniture for the promenade and the showers in the bathing area is completed, the rehabilitation works on Las Playas de Puerto del Carmen avenue next to Matagorda will be finished.
It has gained space for pedestrians, after investing more than 1.64 million euros.
With this action, a pedestrian road "safer, more comfortable and accessible to all users" has been created, said the mayor, José Juan Cruz Saavedra.
The project, "is about a regeneration of the existing pavement, expanding the pedestrian platform without losing the idiosyncrasy that this stretch of avenue has."
