A 57-year-old man died after being hit on the LZ-2 road, by the access turn, to the airport . At 22:29 hours, emergency services received an alert informing that there had been an accident on the road and a male needed health care.
A medical and a basic life support ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service and the Civil Guard went to the man.
He was in cardio-respiratory arrest on arrival and after several attempts to recover him, they found his injuries were fatal.
