In Lanzarote the Valterra Health Centre has been enabled as a vaccination point during weekends and holidays, and no appointment is required, although there are also enabled telephones to request it. This centre will have the capacity to inject a maximum of 726 doses per day and does not require a prior appointment and will be operational from this Friday, November 26th, and until December 19th, from 08:00 to 19:00 hours.

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands begins this Friday to administer without appointment the booster dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 to people aged between 60 and 69 years , that is, those born between 1952 and 1961 and that they have completed their vaccination with two doses.

In the case of having received the two doses of Pfizer or Moderna, the booster dose can be received after six months. In this same age range, and in the case of having received two doses of Johnson & Johnson or AstraZeneca, the booster dose can be administered from three months.

To speed up the vaccination process and optimise resources, the Ministry of Health has also enabled the phones 928 47 89 50 and 928 47 89 64 to request an appointment to receive any of these doses of the vaccine.
