Lanzarote has registered the largest rebound in coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic, with 19 new positives in the last day . Specifically, there are 13 residents on the island and six tourists from other parts of Spain.
According to data made public by the Cabildo, there are currently 59 active cases, of which 34 are local and 25 are imported. In them, 22 tourists from other parts of Spain, a tourist from the United Kingdom and two immigrants are counted, although health sources confirmed to La Voz this Friday that one of them had already become negative.
All patients are in home isolation asymptomatic or with mild symptoms.
As for the number of accumulated cases since the beginning of the pandemic, it stands at 159, of which 50 were diagnosed in the last week.
