The Minister of Public Works of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Alfredo Mendoza, accompanied by the Minister of Waste, Hugo Delgado, visited the access works to the tip in Costa Teguise, located on Avenida El Golf, in front of the urbanization of Calle de Las Bunganvillas, in Costa Teguise to monitor its progress.

Mendoza stressed the commitment of the First Institution to improve and promote recycling on the Island. He also pointed out that " steps must be taken on the path of good waste management and bet on the ecological transition."

There will be a single-lane roundabout, seven meters wide, as well as a hard shoulder and a shelter area for the central island. All this in a section of street that will be more than 300 meters long, with two 1.5 meter sidewalks, two 3.50 meter wide lanes and parking lots on both sides.

The new tip complies with the regulations on treatment of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), as well as with another series of improvements in operation and image that will make it easier for the population to deposit this waste in the network of tips.
