One woman has died and another remains in serious condition after falling from a height of 20 meters with a buggy, through the Roferos area, between Teseguite and Guatiza. The 45-year-old woman who remains in critical condition has a head injury and was been taken by firefighters to the highway and then evacuated to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital in a medicalized ambulance.
The events occurred at 3:30 p.m. this Monday afternoon, as confirmed by the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).
The vehicle appears to have left the road, lost control and plunged down the ravine. The mother and daughter were tourists and had rented the buggy. The mother as about 60 years old, who died.
