No new cases reported yesterday and a new death in Lanzarote, bringing the total to 44 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
As confirmed by the Island Health Area, the deceased is a 53-year-old man, with previous pathologies, who was admitted to the ICU of the Molina Orosa Hospital. His case was associated with a family outbreak.
There are 35 deaths registered on the island during the third wave of Covid, in addition to the six that occurred in the first and the three in the second.
